Inheritance by Christopher Paolini is the long-awaited conclusion to the Inheritance Cycle series. Christopher Paolini is the author of the Inheritance Cycle series which consists of Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr and finally, Inheritance. Following the last book Brisingr, Inheritance follows Eragon, once a poor farmboy now an elite warrior, and his dragon Saphira on their last adventure to free the land of Alagaesia from the evil clutches of King Galbatorix, cruel ruler of the empire. The characters are memorable and interesting. Many chapters end with a cliffhanger, leaving you wanting to read more. Overall, Inheritance is ideal for anyone who likes the fantasy/adventure genre, although some scenes can be very disturbing and violent so it’s mainly for teens and young adults. For $15, you get more than 800 pages of action, romance, and adventure.
