All advocate classes came together in the hallways and linked arms to commemorate the signing of the school as a No Place for Hate campus Thursday, March 8.
During the ceremony, broadcast filmed the event with seven cameras to make into a video for RNN. Students stood in the hallways in each building while music played over the loud speakers. Classes also signed a resolution declaring Rouse a place where bullying will not be tolerated and everyone will respect one another.
“I think that yesterday went a lot better than I expected,” president Paige Smith said. “I’m really glad that everyone took it as seriously as they did.”
