German students from Rouse and Vista Ridge combined to compete at the Sprachfest German Competition, Feb. 4. Several students qualified for the state contest, Feb. 25.
Terrance Finn – 3rd in the level 1 culture test
Clynt South – 4th in the level 3 culture test
Grant Britton –3 rd in the level 4 culture test and 5th in the listening comprehension
Aaron Rachui –placed 5th in the level 2 reading comprehension
Ashlee Benge –placed 4th in level 3 reading comprehension
Sophie Schwab and Kailee Snyder –placed 3rd in the Gingerbread House non-traditional
Josh Thompson, Jake Pattinson (VRHS) and Keely Torsak (VRHS) – 4th in Original Models.
Tristan Biedermann, Julian Johnson (VRHS), Paul Johnson (VRHS) and Alex Perez (VRHS – 1st in Chorus
Julia Auchey, Aaron Rachui, Mario Alanis (VRHS) and Stephanie Schultz (VRHS) – 6th in the Scavenger Hunt, qualified for State.
Grant Britton, Cody Hilgart, Julia Auchey and Vista Ridge students Ashlee Benge, Josh Murley, Sara Moya and Hunter Gabbard – placed 5th in Pass Auf, qualified for State.
