It’s time for the women to take the field.

The third annual Lady Raider Football Camp will happen August 6 for any female interested in learning about football and getting to know the Raider coaching staff and their wives. Proceeds from the event will go to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and the school’s Football Booster Club.

The all-day event takes participants through a day in the life of a football player. In the morning, the camp will focus on the physical part of what a football player does. The camp will provide lunch, introduce the participants to this year’s charity and provide a special presentation for the mothers of senior football players. Participants will also learn about the game of football and have the option to participate in physical activities or sit and watch.

The camp is open to any female interested in learning about football, including moms, girlfriends, sisters, teachers, sports medicine trainers and other girls.
