Max Cole is a senior staffer on the Raider Rumbler Newspaper. On top of that, he is also a second year staffer for the Rouse Replay. He plans to pursue a career in environmental journalism and dreams of working for National Geographic as a story writer. In his off time he likes to bike, listen to a variety of music, and go out with friends. He’s hoping to improve his journalistic approach and skills when it comes to documenting stories and the lives of others from this class.

They had been practicing the performance that they performed for the 8th graders since the end of football season. “For me, I joined when I was in middle school so I think having younger kids see it and showing them things they might like to do is really important to see if they want to join and be a part of something new,” Heyman said.

A longtime fan of Tyler, the Creator, junior Nolan Bond speaks on what was most impressive about the album to him. He first listened to it with his friends–who are also fans of Tyler’s work–after band rehearsal. “I was fascinated by the singing he had in there and the slower songs because we’ve never really heard him sing,” Bond said. “He usually just brings other people on to sing, so it was just cool to see. He combines so many different genres it feels like throughout the songs, and it doesn’t fail to feel super collective and whole with so many things going on.”

Surrounded by Student Council members, senior Riya Sengupta wears her country fit. She dressed for the Country vs Country Club theme day. “I think theme days are a really important part of our school culture so I chose to participate in the Country vs Country Club theme day,” Sengupta said. “I love dressing up and showing spirit for my school on game days and it’s just fun to dress up like a cowgirl every now and then.”
