AP Precalculus and AP Calculus AB teacher Weslee Copeland writes equations on the new Newline touch screen as his class takes notes. In the math classroom, Copeland has strived to balance traditional and digital learning. “With a little bit of trial and error, I've figured out what seems to work best with students, what they learn from best,” Copeland said. “I think there's value in physically writing the notes out, because I think it helps lock it in. But I also think there's value in a digital platform that makes it kind of fun and increases engagement.”
