Berry Cool is exactly what the title implies – “very cool.” They sell 14 different flavors of frozen yogurt. The general atmosphere of the little yogurt shop was welcoming and cheerful, with bright orange and green walls, and swiveling white chairs. Berry Cool has a self-serve system, complete with a scale at the end to weigh your creation. For $3.59, I got a mixture of Chocolate Overload, Strawberry Sensation and Cappuccino. Out of the 53 toppings and six types of syrup, I got Oreo bits, gummy worms, fresh-cut strawberries, cherries, colored mocha, mini M&Ms, coconut flakes and brownie bits. The yogurt was creamy and smooth, thicker than I would have expected. The flavors blended well together, and the toppings mixed in evenly. Overall, it was very delicious, and I can’t wait to go back. –Gloriana Stolle

The Snickers Sonic Blast was all you could ask for and more. I used to order this every time I went to Sonic and having it again was almost nostalgic. It has perfectly mixed in pieces of Snickers, whipped cream and vanilla ice cream, what is there to not love? The only thing that could’ve been better about it is if it hadn’t of melted so quickly. The Sonic Styrofoam cups try their hardest but just can’t keep the ice cream at the temperature necessary to survive the Texas heat. Overall, it was a great treat with the exception that you enjoy it quickly before it becomes a drink rather than an ice cream. –Rachel Sloan

Bigger isn’t always better. Dippin’ Dots offers a large assortment of flavors that are always sure to please. My trip to Lakeline’s ice-cold kiosk was for a delicious cookies and crème treat. This personally is my favorite because of the texture. I like having the rich, creamy ice cream mixed with the crunchy cookie bites. When I reach the end of the cup, my only regret is that I didn’t get a larger size. –Keely Wirries

A great treat for a hot summer day, this cold and tasty treat melts quickly but if you get to it in time, it’s delicious. Whether you order vanilla or chocolate, the milky texture is extremely refreshing, after a hot day. The chocolate flavored frosty is my personal favorite drink replacement at Wendy’s; the milk chocolate flavor goes well with any meal, especially as a dessert. When you scoop into the frosty with your fpoon (frosty spoon), it is the consistency of soft served ice-cream, but as it melts it becomes more and more like a milkshake as time goes on. So if you’re craving a sweet cold treat over the summer stop by a Wendy’s and try this frosty treat out. –James Amell
