Diving into the new season, the swim team has started strong in their first few meets, thanks in part to the doubling of the team’s size from last year. In two duals and three invitationals, the team has brought home more than 25 awards, including 10 first-place finishes. The swim team competed against nine other teams in the Belton Invitational Oct. 18 against 16 other teams, both 4A and 5A, Oct, 21 against 29 other teams at the University of Texas Invitational Oct. 29 and against 19 other teams both 4A and 5A at Texas A&M, Nov. 15.
