Theatre department presents AP Showcase

The Varsity Advance Productions theatre class will host their AP Showcase Saturday, Sept. 17 to introduce themselves to the school community.

“I’m really excited for the show,” senior Kaila Burritt said. “It’s always really fun to show off all our new stuff. We also have a cool group show to tie it all together.”

The show consists of a series of monologues, solo musical performances, and a group movement theatre piece. The show is in the theatre’s Black Box, room 5306 from 7-8:30 p.m.

“The audience is going to get humor and tragedy,” senior Chase Massey said. “They’ll get an interesting group activity from the theatre department that’s fun to watch.”

All students, faculty and parents are encouraged to attend the free show.

“They get to get a feel for what it’s like to be a big part of a school group,” Massey said. “It’s like a whole new world and the audience can see how fun it can be to put on a big show.”
