The Raider swim team brought home a win for the first meet this year. The team competed against Leander High School Sept. 18 with the girls defeating Leander’s girls team. Five swimmers took home first place medals including Jyna Leckbee in the 50-yard freestyle, Amanda Alspaugh for 100-yard and 500-yard freestyle, Andrew Thomas for 200-yard individual medley, Dylan James for 100-yard breast stroke and Mackenzie Alspaugh for 100 yard freestyle. Both boys and girls brought home wins in the medleys relays and freestyle relays.
