The annual Meet the Raiders will showcase the fall sports teams, Wednesday, Aug. 27. Head coaches and team members from football, volleyball, cross country, tennis and swimming will speak to the crowd about the upcoming year, their respective teams and sports.

“Meet the Raiders is a good way for the school to see the new teams,” senior varsity football player Danny Benitez said. “It allows the school to have seen the players and they know who’s competing.”

The band, cheerleaders and dance teams will also perform at the free event.  In addition, Raider gear, and food and drinks will be available before and during the event. The yearbook staff will also open up sales for the 2015 Replay with their Back to School $55 Special.

“Performing as a freshman and sophomore was really exciting,” Royal Alex Mimms said. “It feels different and less nerve-racking going in as senior.”

Meet the Raiders begins at 7 p.m. and takes place at the on-campus football stadium.
