Senior David Feeney qualified for state after placing second in Job Demonstration at the district Skills USA Automotive competition in Waco, Feb. 21.

“I think he did well enough that he should have gotten first,” Skills USA sponsor Jeff Milam. “I think he will do well enough to place at state and if he does that, he will be the first at Rouse to have ever done that.”

Feeney will be competing at the state competition in Corpus Christi, March 27-29.

“I’m so excited, I get to hang out at the beach with Mr. Milam and Mr. Davis,” Feeney said. “It will be a great learning experience.”
