FRESHMAN GIRLS BBALL

The freshman girls’ basketball team finished their season 5-6 in district and 10-13 overall.

“Overall, it was a good learning experience,” freshman Hannah Hendricks said. “Towards the end of the season we really all came together as a team and played as a whole, rather than individually.”

JUNIOR VARSITY GIRLS BBALL

The junior varsity girls basketball team had a strong season finishing 7-4 in district and 7-4 overall.

“We built stronger team bonding and we became a stronger unit,” sophomore Regan Hjort said. “We had some tough competition throughout the season, but we pulled through in the end even though we didn’t become district champions.”

FRESHMAN BOYS BBALL

The freshman boys’ basketball team finished second in district with a 9-3 district record and 17-7 overall.

“It felt like a great season,” freshman Zach Berard said. “I feel like we worked hard and did good. We came out second in district. It was a good accomplishment, we could have done better, and we wanted to do better. That’s how we felt the whole season. In practice we weren’t focused and lost concentration but it all worked out in the end.”

JUNIOR VARSITY BOYS BBALL

With a 8-4 district record, the junior varsity boys basketball team took third in district and finished 17-8 overall.

“I felt it was pretty successful,” sophomore Zach Washburn said. “We may not have done what we set out to do, but overall we were pretty successful. We’ve gotten a lot better.”
