They contain mega doses of Vitamin B, your body only needs so many vitamins so it has to excrete the excess and that’s where you get the fun neon yellow pee from. They [Monsters and Red Bulls] also have additives that cause heart attacks. If we put focus on nutrition and sleep we wouldn’t need them. It used to be that kids didn’t even drink coffee, only adults did.

What is the biggest downfall to energy drinks?
They pump you up then drop you low. They don’t give you a sustainable energy, if you want energy that will last just eat a proper diet and rest.

What are medical problems that can result from overuse of energy drinks?
Cardiac, seizures, and in some cases kids are dying and it is being link to energy drinks, because of their medical history or they just didn’t know.

How do they affect teenagers particularly?
Teenagers think they are infallible. They think if one is good, two is great, and five is even better. They don’t realize that bigger and more isn’t always better.
