Team Rituals: Prayer, listening to music, dancing and “repping.”

Toughest District Opponent: Vista Ridge. They’re ranked high in the state, have a strong defense and are one of the toughest teams in the district.

Goals and Expectations: Solid wins in non-district play have set the tone for district. The girls’ goal is to make playoffs for the first time.

Fun Fact: The team dances a lot, especially before games. And as Merriweather noted, the team knows how to “twerk.”
