For the second year in a row, the choir and band will perform at Bass Concert Hall as part of the Majic 95.5 Muse Awards.
The choir and band will perform Sunday at 2 p.m. The Muse Awards recognize public schools in several categories including group vocal, individual vocal, group instrument, individual instrument, ensemble and visual art. A CD of all the finalists’ performances will be created from the live show.
The finalists also have the opportunity to receive a donation from the annual contest.
“We’ve been working on the music since October,” assistant choir director Spencer Wiley said. “Last year we won $500. We’re excited because we were one of the only ones in the district who made it.”
The show is free and open to the public. Bass Concert Hall is on The University of Texas campus.
