Toy Joy – On the corner of Guadalupe and 29th (right next to Buffalo Exchange), this spot has every type of toy you could dream of, from bacon gumballs to giant hand-shaped chairs, this place has it all.
Lucy In Disguise – Located on South Congress, this costume shop is your ultimate stop for anything weird or funky. Its unique costumes can’t be found anywhere else and you can rent or buy your favorite costume year round.
Big Top Candy Shop – If you’re a candy-lover, this is your oasis. The moment you step into the shop, you’re overwhelmed with candy you can’t get anywhere else, including old vintage candy. Also a sweet bonus, there’s nothing in the shop more than $10.
Uncommon Objects – This vintage antique shop located on South Congress (next to Lucy In Disguise) is definitely keeping Austin weird. If you’re looking for bizarre décor, Uncommon Objects will have what you’re looking for.
Amy’s Ice Creams – With three different locations, Amy’s is the place to go if you want killer ice cream. Not only are their flavors one-of-a-kind, but they also have vegan options.
Waterloo Records – This record store has any and every type of music you’re looking for. If you listen to indie artists, and can’t find their music anywhere else, Waterloo will have it. Located on North Lamar Boulevard, it’s a great place to go if you’re a music lover.
Buffalo Exchange – If you’re looking for cool vintage clothes, this is where you need to go. On the corner of Guadalupe and 29th, this spot has clothes that are one-of-a-kind. You can also bring in your own clothes to sell for some quick cash.
Hike & Bike Trail – The 10-mile loop flanked by Lady Bird Lake is the best trail in Austin. It runs along Zilker Park and Auditorium Shores and has three, four, seven and 10-mile loops. Take a jog or just walk along the path, and enjoy the trees and wildlife.

360 Bridge – Located in south Austin, this famous bridge crosses over Lady Bird Lake and offers breathtaking views from the waterfront or up above on the cliffs. It’s a great place for photographs and watching the sunset.
