Tacky tourists, surfers, bumble bees and Romans all came together for one final volleyball practice. All three teams had their last practice, Oct. 22 dressed in Halloween costumes.
“I was Iron Man so it was kind of difficult to play with my mask on because I couldn’t see through the eye holes,” freshmen Averi Foster said. “It was a lot more fun than normal practice because we were all laughing at each other.”
The idea was brought to the team by varsity coach Jacob Thompson. He had heard that other schools in the district were trying this out and has decided to make it a tradition for following years to follow.
“It was another team building activity,” Foster said. “It was the last practice, so it was a great way to remember the season as being fun and that our coach is always there to have fun with us.”
The practice was the teams’ final practice before completing their seasons Tuesday at Dripping Springs.
