All the fall sports teams will be showcased in one gathering at the annual Meet the Raiders, Wednesday, Aug. 29.

“Meet the Raiders is a chance for the community to meet the players they will be watching this season,” Student Council sponsor Keli McCabe said. “It is a chance for the students to share their school spirit with everyone.”           

Head coaches and captains for fall teams: football, volleyball, cross country, tennis and swimming will speak to the crowd about the upcoming year.            

“It gives nontraditional sports like tennis a chance to get a sense of notoriety,” tennis coach Michael Hjort said.

Meet the Raiders starts at 6:30 p.m. at the football stadium on campus. Several clubs will have food and refreshments for sale before and during the event.
