The Destination Imagination team won fifth at Global finals at Knoxville, Tennessee, May 23-26. 

The team, consisting of Toni Schmidt, Paige Smith, Josh Petro, Stephanie Hofmann, Andy Mask and Casey McMahan, went against 79 other teams from around the world. DI is a creative problem solving organization that focuses on teamwork and thinking outside the box. Their play was about a man from Argentina that goes to Japan in hope of finding a lost treasure.

“Globals was fun,” Smith said. “It was fun to hang out with my team and meet new friends. Winning fifth was exciting. It was a great way to end the DI season.”
