The Eli Young Band was honored to be the opening act of the biggest day of the Austin Rodeo, March 10. They opened up with a real crowd pleaser, “Crazy Girl.” Eli Young Band is a country band and proud to show it. They rocked the stage, but maybe a little too loud. The guitarist was having problems all show and switched guitars twice. Also, even for me, a teen who listens to their music pretty loudly, it was too loud for such a small arena. It lowered the quality of the music and you could hear the audience singing along clearer than you could the band. The concert overall was a crowd pleaser and they definitely showed that with enthusiasm and a lot of Texan spirit.
