The C2 club has organized a No Place for Hate movement that is getting started one hand at a time.
All advocate classes will come together in the hallways and link arms to commemorate the signing of the school as a No Place for Hate campus, Thursday, March 8.
“Mrs. Johnson, Mr. Graham, the broadcast crew have all worked to make this possible,” sponsor Keli McCabe said. “We are just trying to get everyone involved and have C2 become a symbol for this kind of thing.”
While the students are linked, broadcast will film the event with seven cameras to make into a video for RNN.
“This will show the unity of Rouse that we are striving for,” president Paige Smith said. “I think it’s worth having because everyone has the chance to be involved.”
The C2 club has not only tried to spread kindness on campus, but has visited elementary schools in the area as well to introduce the program to them.
“We have gone to Blockhouse and did a presentation to get their program started, and are planning on going to Plain Elementary soon,” McCabe said.
