The first semester is over and things seem to becoming a little more difficult as classes change and school work becomes more hectic, but with every door closed, a new one opens and that new door can sometimes be a stressful, time seized, and unpredictable door. This door, it goes by the name of school. But school doesn’t always end up with that description.
Why should the only thing our young minds think about be school and work? I mean, I think school is very important and no matter how much I’m about to sound like your mother, yes, grades matter. But it’s not such a bad thing to have some fun every once in a while is it? It’s only natural that fun relieves stress, right? And hopefully you’ve discovered that those Rouse sports games are a fantastic way to have fun. There’s nothing like the smell of toasted hot dogs, the cheers of your fellow RHS friends, and high school sports becoming more intense as we go on through the year. So maybe this door can be fun at times too.
Not everybody goes to the sports games though. And why not, guys? We have one high school experience and one only, so why sit on our bums at home and watch some silly media infested TV show when we could be out mingling with other human beings and having some real life fun. Don’t get involved in those fantasized TV shows that some braniac eccentric invented, live your own life. Get out there and create your own real life high school story. So open that diverse door with some enthusiasm and march through it with confidence because this is our lives and we make them what they are.
