THEATRE COMEDY IMPROV SHOW
Dec. 10 – The Advanced Productions Theatre class will put on Improv-a-Ganza, a comedy improvisation show, Saturday in the Black Box. The show begins at 7 p.m. and is free.
CHOIR & BAND AT BASS CONCERT HALL
Dec. 11 – The choir and band will perform at Bass Concert Hall on the University of Texas campus, Sunday, Dec. 11. The 3 p.m. show is free and open to the public. The choir and band won a Majic 95.5 Muse Awards contest to participate in the show with other winning schools in the area.
GERMAN FOOD DAY
Dec. 13 – The German classes will host a food day, Tuesday, Dec. 13 in room 2220.
FACULTY COOKIE EXCHANGE
Dec. 14 – Teachers and staff will exchange cookies at the second annual Holiday Cooking Exchange, Wednesday, Dec. 14. Teachers should bring two dozen of their favorite cookies: a dozen wrapped to give away and a dozen on an open plate to share. They can also bring copies of the recipe to share. The cookie exchange will be in 1410 at 4 p.m.
SPRING CLASSES RESUME
Jan. 2 – After Christmas break, classes resume for the spring semester, Monday, Jan. 2. Students will receive their spring schedule at the beginning of the day.
ELECTIVE FAIRS & REGISTRATION SESSIONS FOR INCOMING FRESHMEN
Jan. 12 & 17 – A registration information session with a club and elective fair will be held Thursday, Jan. 12 and Tuesday, Jan. 17 for incoming freshmen. The fair begins at 6:15 p.m. and registration sessions start at 7 p.m. On the 12th, the fair will be in the Commons and the registration session begins in the cafeteria. On the 17th, the fair will be in the cafeteria and the registration session in the auditorium.
REGISTRATION FOR SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS
Feb. 1 – A parent information session for sophomores and juniors will be Wednesday, Feb. 1 in the auditorium. The session will include registration for next year’s classes and an overview of AP and ACC opportunities.
