Project Graduation will host the first-ever Holiday Bazaar, Nov. 12. The goal of the bazaar is to raise money for the 2012 graduation. The bazaar will feature vendors from all over central Texas and run from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
“I hope that it will be very successful,” project grad representative Sheryl Price said. “And that a lot of people will come out and get some shopping done.”
The Automotive department will hold an open house on the same day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The purpose of the open house is to show off the new facilities, meet the instructors, and see the students in action.
“The students will show up and get to do work and the public will see them work and the tools they work with,” Auto Tech teacher Jeff Milam said. “I invited shop owners and business owners and I am hoping they will get to see the students work and hopefully employ them.”
