The varsity tennis team won the Pflugerville tennis tournament, Friday Nov. 4.
“No pain no gain, if you don’t try your hardest and don’t go through the pain then you don’t deserve to win,” freshman Dylan Ritter said. “I think that made the team do good and I’m happy about how I played.”
First place finishes from Dylan and Zane Ritter, Cameron McCarthy, Sina Marchione and Kaha’I Rhody helped seal the win.
“I’m extremely pleased with how they played on both the 4A and 5A level and it was an amazing team effort for the varsity wins.” coach Michael Hjort said. “They did really well which makes it a great way to kick off the individual season.”
