At the regional cross country meet Nov. 4 senior Nicole Kastens won tenth and senior Daniel Belsick placed fourth.

“I felt strong,” Kastens said. “It was a great way to extend my last year of cross country.”

Both runners advanced to state and will be competing at Old Settlers Park Saturday Nov. 12.

 “I wasn’t too happy about getting fourth at regionals, but it showed me how hard the competition is out there,” Belsick said. “This week I plan on staying healthy and getting lots of sleep because I’m going for a top three spot at the state meet.”
