Build Your Own Scarecrow
Oct. 23- Raiders ‘Round the World are hosting a Build Your Own Scarecrow event Sunday, Oct. 23 from 12 p.m.- 4 p.m. at the Hill Country Water Gardens and Nursery. It only costs $25 and you can bring your whole family out to decorate one.
Halloween & Thanksgiving Volunteer Efforts
Oct. 31-Nov. 11- FFA will collect canned goods on Halloween for their annual Trick-or-Treat activity, with proceeds benefitting Hill Country Ministries. Student Council will collect food for the LISD backpack program Oct. 31 through Nov. 11.
Senior “ApplyTexas” Workshop
Nov. 2- There will be a senior workshop in the library from 1:30-4:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2 to assist seniors with filling on college applications. Nov. 2 is an early release day.
9th Grade Parent Night
Nov. 3- An informational session for current ninth graders and their parents will be held in the auditorium, Wednesday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. Students will begin registration for 10th grade courses.
Royals Audition Meeting
Nov. 8 – The Royals will hold an audition information meeting Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria. All students interested in auditioning for the 2012-12 Rouse Royals Dance Team, Rouse JV Dance Team, Managers or Royals
Thanksgiving Lunch
Nov. 18- The cafeteria will serve a Thanksgiving meal, Friday, Nov. 18. Meals will be served on the Favorites, grill and creation lines only. The salad bar and deli lines will have the condiments and gravy. No other food will be served that day.
