Theatre will preform their musical, Les Miserables School Edition, Jan. 30-Feb. 1 in the school’s auditorium. All shows are sold out, however a limited amount of tickets will be sold at the door.

Raider Rumbler was allowed a sneak peak of the performance during dress rehearsal. The conclusion is that it is a beautiful rendition of the classic musical, filled with ups and downs that have you on the edge of your seat.

The story starts with Jean Valjean, played by Will Ingram, being released from prison. Javert, played by Joshua Cominsky, is a continuous reminder of Jean Valjean’s past, as he tries to escape his old life. The play follows Valjean as he goes through the years and adopts a young girl named Cosette, played by Olivia Lukes, whose mother he is indebted to.

The musical takes place during the French Revolution. The Barricade Boys do a fantastic job of being a beacon of hope during dark times. Sam Ingram, JP Lopez, Cameron Payne, Jacob Price, Calvin Harding and many more give a voice to the voiceless.

The whole cast came together to put on a beautiful production that will be remembered by students for years to come. If you weren’t able to buy your tickets ahead of time, wait at the doors, because it is one that you won’t want to miss.
