Graffiti Park

Graffiti Park at Castle Hill – Open 24 hours a day, this outdoor gallery is a place where artist use spray paint on the structures of the landscape.

 

Zilker Park Botanical Gardens

Zilker Botanical Garden – ZBG’s hours are from 9am-5pm with the last entry at 4:30 pm, Admission is accepted in cash or check: $1 for children ages 3-12, $2 for adult residents of Austin ages 13-61, $3 for non Austin adult residents ages 13-61, $1 for seniors ages 62 and over. The garden is a non-profit organization.

 

Zilker Park Boat Rentals

Zilker Park Boat Rentals – Open 10am until dusk, days depend on the weather. The boats are either $15 per hour or $45 for all day, Cash only and picture ID Required. Limit loads for canoes: Three Adults, or Two adults and two Small children. Dogs are allowed.

 

Blue Hole Georgetown

Blue Hole Georgetown – Free Public Parking, Open From dawn till Dusk. Blue hole is a lagoon bordered by limestone.

Austin Nature and Science Museum

Museums – Austin Nature and Science Center, Austin Fire Museums, O. Henry Museum, The Texas Capitol, Elisabet Ney Museum, George Washington Carver Museum, The Mexican American Cultural Center, Harry Ransom Center, Texas Governor’s Mansion, Texas Military Forces Museum, Splash! Bat Watch – At dusk on the congress bridge, watch the 1.5 million Mexican Free-Tailed Bats emerge.

 

 

 

Barton Springs

Barton Springs Pool – Year round 70 degree spring open from 5am – 8am and 6pm – 10pm daily free or charge but during the hours of 8am- 6pm there is an admission fee; children under 1 year are free as are seniors over the age of 80, 1-11 years there is a $1-3 charge depending on residency, 12-17 years $2-4, 18-62 years $3-8, 62 and older $1-4.

– Monday -Thursday 10am- 11pm, Friday 10am-1am, Saturday 9am-1am, Sunday 9am-11pm. Rates: 1 course (18 holes) for adults and children 6 and older$7 children 5 and under $5, Both courses (36 holes) adults and children 6 and over $11 Children 5 and under $9. CASH ONLY

 

Mayfield Park

Mayfield Park – open daily from 6am to 9pm, it’s a non-profit organization that for restoring mayfield cottage and gardens. NO PETS
