IMPORTANT DATES FOR BACK TO SCHOOL

MONDAY, AUG. 22 – First Day of School, A Day

Classes begin at 8:45 a.m. Students will report to a registration period first and then follow the A day schedule.

New students who still need to register should report to the Guidance Office.

Students will take ID photographs during ACE, English II, III or IV classes. Junior and senior students who do not have English III or IV must go on their own time to take ID pictures in the lecture hall.

TUESDAY, AUG. 23 – Second Day, B Day

Classes begin at 8:45 a.m. Students will report to a registration period first and then follow the B day schedule.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 24 – Meet the Raiders Night

The annual Meet the Raiders Night begins at the football field at 6 p.m. The night will include a community pep rally and carnival, with fall sports teams, the band, cheerleading and dance teams introduced.

 

THURSDAY, AUG. 25 – Advocate & Sporting Events

Students will attend their Advocate classes for the first time.

The Lady Raiders will begin the Volleypalooza tournament against other district schools in the gym. The tournament runs through Saturday, Aug. 26th.

The freshman football team will take on Liberty Hill at 5 p.m. while the junior varsity team travels to Liberty Hill for their game at 7 p.m.

 

FRIDAY, AUG. 26 – First Varsity Football game

The Raiders will take on Liberty Hill at 7:30 p.m. at Bible Stadium for the varsity team’s first football game. Student tickets can be purchased during lunch in the cafeteria or at the gate.

 

MONDAY, AUG. 29 – Open House

Open House begins at 6 p.m. Parents have an opportunity to follow their student’s schedule and meet their new teachers. Student schedules and maps will be available from 6 to 6:15 p.m. in the cafeteria. Parents will have about 10 minutes per class and Open House is expected to wrap up around 8:30 p.m.

 

MONDAY, SEPT. 5 – Labor Day

No school
