Castle is about a writer who follows a NYC detective on every case she gets. Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion) first meets detective Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) when Beckett gets a case that follows the book of writer Castle. After that Castle helps catch killers and arrests criminals with partner Beckett and Beckett’s associates Javier Esposito (Jon Huertas) and Kevin Ryan (Seamus Dever).

In the season finale aired on May 16, Beckett is chasing the man who ordered the hit on her mother years ago. Things get heated up as the man who killed her mother escapes from jail and threatens Captain Montgomery (Ruben Santiago-Hudson) of the NYPD.

So many twists come up in this episode such as when Beckett found out that the third cop to be at the crime when her mother died was Captain Montgomery. Montgomery never tells Beckett who ordered the hit; he took it to the grave with him when Hal Lockwood (Max Martini) the murderer of her mother, kills him. Thinking that nothing could ever go wrong after Montgomery’s death, Beckett gives a speech at his funeral, gets shot with a sniper, and dies in Castles’ arms while he pleads for her to stay alive because he admits he loves her.

I am so excited for next year’s season because there are going to be so many more twists and crazy criminals. I don’t believe Kate Beckett is dead because you can’t have Castle without Beckett.
