This was my second visit to Blue Corn Harvest Bar and Grill and it was just as impressive as the first time. Blue Corn serves all kinds of foods from brunch to dinner. I went for a late lunch and it was packed, but we were seated within 15 minutes of showing up. It had a warm and welcoming environment that the whole family would enjoy and the service was fast and friendly.

As an appetizer we ordered the spinach and artichoke dip ($9.99). It came out hot and was rich with a thick texture. For a group of two, the spinach and artichoke dip was more than enough. As a main course we split the macaroni and cheese ($13.99). The mac and cheese had four different cheeses and came with both grilled chicken and andouille sausage. It was rich and full of flavor and had a crunchy bread crumb topping. Even though we split the one dish I couldn’t even finish my half. One serving was plenty for two people.

And finally, for dessert we ordered the flan ($6.99). The flan was not my favorite, it came with a cookie that was flavorless and had a chocolate and strawberry drizzle. The texture was too firm and it had a weird taste to it.

For three dishes and two drinks the overall price was $40. It’s not the cheapest place, but it was a good price for two people and a very enjoyable lunch. Next time I will bring my dogs and eat on their patio because they are pet friendly.
