The current season of Bones ended on May 19, in usual Bones style, with a twist ending. A season finale’s purpose is to draw the fans in and make them eager to wait and watch the premiere in the fall. This finale accomplished this without a doubt. The show isn’t just about the dead bodies. It’s about the characters in the lab and their lives. The plot is the most important part of every show. The difference between a good show and a bad show is whether the plot will develop into something that the audience can fall in love with. Over the past couple of seasons, the writers have definitely done this.

In this episode it was finally time for Angela (Michaela Conlin) to give birth. Through the episode you see Brennan, (Emily Deschanel) grow more and more excited in anticipation for the new addition to their family. As Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan investigate a murder at a bowling alley, Angela and Hodgens (TJ Thyne) rush to the hospital as she goes into labor. After discovering the killer they rushed to the hospital to see the baby boy. On the way home, Brennan stops Booth to tell him the episode changing statement, “I’m pregnant…It’s yours.”
