Buy prom tickets and submit contracts by Friday

UPDATE: The Prom Club has extended ticket sales and contract submissions to Friday, May 6 at noon. Tickets purchased at the webstore may be picked up at the prom booth before Friday or at arrival at prom. Tickets will not be sold at prom.

Students this year will get a feel of what it’s like to go back in time to Hollywood, with prom’s “Old Hollywood” theme.

“I think it’s awesome that with this theme, you can really play up to it,” senior Angel Moraga said. “Usually I have a fear that the theme won’t really mean anything, but with ‘Old Hollywood’ you can really go with the theme and enjoy it instead of something very random.”

Juniors and seniors this year can purchase their tickets online at any time or in the R on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings for $40 per person. Tickets must be purchased by Wednesday, May 4.

Also, any student attending prom must sign a prom expectations contract and have a parent or guardian sign as well. Contracts can be found with Advocate teachers or in the AP Office and must be submitted by May 4.

Students bringing a non-Rouse student to prom must also fill out the guest approval form, which is located on the opposite side of the prom contract, and submit it to the AP Office by May 4.

Prom will be held at the Renaissance Austin Hotel at 9721 Arboretum Blvd. in the Rio Grande Hall.
