Chemistry will host tie dye extravaganza

Jordan Buie, Editor-in-chief

For the second year in a row, the chemistry department will host a tie dye extravaganza, in Jo Tanzer’s room, 3012, Thursday 26, May from 4-5 p.m.

“Chemistry tends to be very difficult for most students so it’s a great way to make it through and have fun,” Tanzer said. “And there is a lot of chemistry in tie dye.”

All Chemistry students are welcome to pay the $3 fee that covers one white t-shirt and the tie dye materials. The fee is due by April 8 and participants can pay an additional $3 for more than one t-shirt.

“I originally wanted to do tie dye because I’ve never had a tie dye shirt so I think it would be cool to make one,” sophomore Nalani Nuylan said. “Plus I don’t want to study for finals.”
