There’s a great view of the Austin skyline from Lou Neff Point on the Lady Bird Hike and Bike Trail.

You don’t need a honey bun or a smoochie poo in order to have fun on Valentine’s Day.

Singles Party – Get all your single friends together for a laid-back party. Have a fun theme, grab some board games or just cook out.

Go on a binge – Binge watch Grey’s Anatomy or How to Make a Murderer on Netflix and hunker down with some cookies n’ cream ice cream and chips.

Hit the park – Take advantage of the incredible weather and head over to the Lady Bird hike and bike for a gorgeous view of the Austin skyline. Or just head to a nearby park or trail. Whether you’re laying around, soaking up the good weather or hiking down a new trail, you can enjoy this solo or with friends.

Bubble Baths – Go ahead and indulge yourself in a bubbling bath. Buy a bath bomb or get some Epsom salt packages. Take up all the hot water and maybe eat some frozen berries or ice cream.

Go see the latest movies – Grab a good friend and go see a movie. Just because you’re single doesn’t mean you have to stay at home.

Curl up with a new book or an old favorite.

Bookstore – Head to Barnes and Noble, Book People, Half Price, or the library and chill in the comfy chairs reading a new book or an old favorite.

Go Starbucks – Hit up Starbucks and get yourself your favorite drink and a chocolate croissant on the side.

Have an art night – Get yourself some art supplies, some new brushes, and a blank canvas, and paint your little single heart away.

Karaoke night – Get together with a group of friends and a boom box, and there ya go. Karaoke! And this, my friend, is free.
