The teachers are getting the opportunity to show off their artsy side.

The art department is hosting the first-ever Faculty Art Exhibit in the Lecture Hall and Commons, Feb. 4. The exhibit will display any and all forms of artwork from the faculty, including paintings, drawings, sculptures and photos.

“I’m excited about the teachers being able to show off their artistic abilities,” art teacher Cynthia Acevedo said. “Some teachers may have artistic abilities from outside of school that we haven’t been able to see.”

More than 15 faculty and staff members are going to be part of the show. The show is from 6-8 p.m. and is open to the public.
