Were you surprised you won?
Dustin Asbury: A few people told me that they had put me down for it, but I had no idea that I would have enough votes to be nominated.
Lindsey Lambert: I expected to win at least something because we’re really involved. We didn’t think that we were going to get this award.

If you would have won anything else, what do you think it would have been?
Asbury: I think most friendly or most spirited.
Lambert: Most friendly or most involved because we’re involved in a lot of organizations.

How do you feel about winning?
Asbury: I think it’s so cool to be Mr. RHS to represent your school, and I’ll be glad to tell my kids that someday. My dad was class clown, I thought it was kind of cool.
Lambert: My mom was pretty excited. I didn’t tell my family, I told my mom. And then my mom sent in the group text ‘Lindsey just won.’ ”

Why do you think you won?
Asbury: We try and support everyone. Like I’ll be at the musical. So we try and go to all the different things around school. And I try not to be rude to people.
Lambert: I think we won because we are the student body president and vice president. So we kind of became the faces of our senior class and we are very friendly and supportive to our class.
