Turkey Drive, Nov. 6-20^th
Student Council will hold their annual turkey drive in November. They will collect canned goods during Advocate classes to help families in need have a Thanksgiving Dinner.

Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11^th
Honoring American soldiers, the school will host its annual ceremony at the pavilion. Choir and band students will perform with a trumpet player performing “Taps.”
 
Fall Merit Awards, Nov. 13^th
For exemplifying one of the LISD’s Ten Ethical Principles, students will receive with Fall Merit Awards during Advocate.

Thanksgiving Lunch, Friday, Nov. 20^th
The cafeteria will serve the traditional Thanksgiving food, including turkey, potatoes, stuffing and pumpkin pies during all lunches.

Thanksgiving Break, Nov. 23-27
The district will close for the entire week of Thanksgiving. School resumes Nov. 30.
