April Fool’s Day is fast approaching, so it’s time to start planning out your pranks for everybody! Whether you’re pranking your mom or one of your best friends, these pranks will work for anyone.
1. One of the oldest tricks in the book: place a cup of water over a partially open door, tell someone to open it, and be prepared to get yelled at!
2. This is the perfect prank for your family computer! Pop off a few of the keys on your keyboard and switch them around. This is guaranteed to cause mass confusion.
3. Poke some holes into the bottom of someone’s plastic cup so next time they go to get a drink, it dribbles out on them. Just make sure it won’t leave a stain!
4. “Borrow” some of your friend’s pens and pencils and paint the tips with a clear nail-polish. When they’re dry, put them back. They’ll be surprised to see that absolutely none of their pens or pencils works.
5. If asked to get water for someone, put salt in it and give them a nasty surprise!
6. Rise and shine! If you have a little brother or sister, this is a great prank. Run into their bedroom shouting “Fire! Fire!” and shake their bed like crazy. Run out of the room and leave them half awake wondering what’s happening.
7. Get a package of those tiny noise poppers (make sure they have strings on the end). Hang them in your doorframe. Next time somebody opens the door, they’ll all fall and make a heck of a lot of noise.
8. Another salty surprise idea is to wet the brushes of someone’s toothbrush and dip it in salt so next time they go to brush their teeth it won’t taste minty fresh like they expect.
9. Take a screenshot of someone’s current computer desktop background. Then set it as their wallpaper, hide the taskbar, and disable their desktop icons (this can all be easily fixed once the prank is over). Whoever uses the computer next will have no idea what happened.
10. Take a small sticky note, write “April Fools!” on it, and stick it underneath the computer mouse over the laser light. Watch how long it takes them to figure out why their mouse isn’t working!
