“I’m going to miss being with the band in general, being a Drum Major and being able to conduct at the games, and cheering with the student section.”
– Samantha Walczak, Band

“All in all the season didn’t go as well as I would’ve hoped and the team probably feels the same way and being  a senior this year, I’m glad that these past four years have been with this amazing group of guys. And I wouldn’t have wanted to spend it any other way.”
– Clayton Wachsmann, Football

“I’m going to miss dancing next to the band in the stands and singing our school song at the end of every football game.”
Krysta Nero, Royal

“The thing I will miss most about football season is standing on the sideline taking pictures and cheering on our Raiders.”
Morgan Spring, Photographer

“Meeting the other front ensemble was always something interesting because we’re all weird and it’s just really nice.”
– George Crouch, Band

“I’m going to miss being on the sidelines to take pictures and tweet the games. Also, just being able to get the better experience of being on the field.”
-Cameron Holland, RNN Producer/Director

“For me, I’m going to miss being there with all my friends and whenever a game gets intense how everyone gets energetic and focused on the game, how crazy it gets.”
Dustin Asbury, Student section

It’s bittersweet. I’m going to miss cheering the boys on. I’ve been doing it my whole high school career.”
Courtney Whitson, Cheer

“I’m going to miss dancing. It’s going to be sad, our last time. As a Royal, I’m going to miss being in the stands and doing stand routines and cheering with a group.”
Cali Kelley, Royal

“I am definitely going to miss being about to capture moments that people are going to look back on in a few years and remember the nights when we are all together, cheering on our team, and jamming out to the drum line.”
-Zac Franklin, Photographer

“This whole year I’ve kind of missed it just because these are the guys I’ve grown up playing with. Garrett [Bruce], I’ve been playing with since fourth grade. So it’s just kind of just going off to college and not playing with the kids I’ve grown up with.”
Kyle Sanderson, Football

“I enjoy dancing to the cadences.”
– Luke Fangman, Band

“It’s probably being out there with my whole family, getting to know all the coaches and all my teammates from the last four years. It’s been a big family and that’s biggest thing I’ll miss.”
Marquis Simmons, Football

“Just like everyone bringing signs and drumline, the chants. Just the whole field of all of it. The energy.”
Blu De Vanon, Student section
