Six choir students competed at All-Region Choir auditions Tuesday, October 27. All six will be part of the All-Region Clinic and Concert, Nov. 14 at Georgetown High School at 5 p.m. Only the top 25 students for each voice part were selected for this honor.

Five advanced to the Pre-Area round: Audrey Dickerson, James Jones, Nate Lunceford, Keaton Pugh, and Cole Shuffield.

“It feels good to have advanced,” Pugh said. “My hard work as paid off. Last year was hard, I had to perform a difficult song but I went to a camp to rehearse and did much better.”

The five choir students now move on to the Pre-Area round, Dec. 1 at Cedar Ridge High School. Eighty students total advanced, with 10 students per voice part moving on.
