Prom Club created decorations for the dance that incorporated all the decades, including selfie walls that represent ’50s, ’60s, ’70s and ’80s.

Are you ready to dance the night away with your friends or special someone? The Homecoming dance takes place in the school’s cafeteria, Saturday, Oct. 24 from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Tickets are available in advance for $20 now, if you procrastinate, you’ll have to buy them at the door for $25. Purchase tickets online at the RHS webstore (https://rhs.edpay.net/) or before/after school in room 1107. Tickets have also been available before school in the R. Proceeds help cover some expenses for the prom.

Even though the dance semi-formal, dress in your favorite decade to fit the Homecoming theme, “Dancing through the Decades.” The decorations will include the popular decades, ‘50s, ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s with a selfie wall for each one. There will also be two photo booths with fun props and unlimited photo strips.

“I think it’s a great theme because everyone has their favorite decade so it’s not just focused on one decade,” senior Cassie Sellers said. “And the theme is fun to decorate because we can show each individual theme and have fun with it.”

Keep in mind that students or other non-RHS guests are allowed, but must be under the age of 21 and pre-approved at the AP office.
