                Katy Perry’s new album is impressive and slightly better than her previous album One of the Boys. Perry uses more music and vocals in Teenage Dream than One of the Boys.  The song “Firework” is very popular among YouTube with more than 100 million views and “Teenage Dream” is also popular in YouTube and has more than 50 million views. “Firework” is popular for its melody and dancing beats. “Teenage Dream” is a mid-tempo pop song with retro sound and it was the No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100. “Teenage Dream” was also nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. “California Gurls” is an electro pop song that features Snoop Dogg and was No. 1 in over 10 countries and receives a Grammy nomination for Best Collaboration with Vocals. Although Teenage Dream is serious and less funny than One of the Boys, this is what makes Teenage Dream album a hit this year. Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
