Representing this year’s theme, “Dancing through the Decades,” the 2015 Homecoming Parade is Monday, Oct. 19 at 6 p.m.

“I’m pumped that Rouse students are being given the opportunity to interact with our community,” junior Homecoming committee head Josh Sanders said. “Also, this year Rouse is able to work with different companies in the Cedar Park area, one of the most exciting being Chick-Fil-A. We’ve never focused on working with the community as much as we are this year.”

Viewers will park in the RHS parking lot and the entrance for spectators and participants is in that same lot. The Wiley parking lot is reserved for the floats only. Student Council recommends bringing lawn chairs to sit along the route.

School clubs will have their own floats as will community participants. After the parade, StuCo will announce the dukes and duchesses as well as the senior court. The annual car bash, hosted by the varsity baseball team, will take place afterwards, allowing students to take swings at a battered car for a fee.

“I am excited to see everyone come out and support Rouse,” StuCo sponsor Andrea Breeden said. “Each year it keeps getting bigger and better.”
