FCCLA students competed at regionals, Feb. 10-12 in Corpus Christi. Shannon Black, Olivia Lopez, and Jessica Singleton placed first in the “Focus on Children” event. They will move onto state competition April 14-16 in Houston.

“Mrs. Delvizis and I are really proud of how well they’ve done and accomplished in our first year of having FCCLA at Rouse,” sponsor Jessica Thailing said. “Hopefully, this program continues to grow and develop leadership skills in the family, career and community areas.”

Destiny Farley and Caitlin Lumpkins both received a gold medal for the leaderships test they took at the competition.
