Have you always lived in Texas or where you somewhere else first? I lived in Sacramento, California for many years, more than 20.
Since you’re new to Austin, have you been to many restaurants/food joints yet? I’ve been to a few, I have a favorite sushi restaurant but I can’t remember the name. It’s by ACC and Cedar Park, like, right by it. Oh wait, and I’m in love with Smoothie King. Now, I don’t know if that’s considered a restaurant but that place is amazing.
Why did you become a teacher? I became a teacher because I like helping people and I like when I see students learning. That’s the main reason.
What’s something interesting you did this summer? I went to Oregon and I went deep sea fishing and offshore fishing and I’ve never done that before and I’m not really a fisher woman but it was really fun and I liked it. I did not touch the fish though, that was the gross part.
What’s a TV show you loved to watch in high school? Dawson’s Creek, I think I just liked it because it was about kids in high school and all different types of people and a little group of friends.
What’s a show you love to watch now? There’s so many of them, I like watching The Big Bang Theory, that’s like my go to bed show. I like watching Devious Maids and Mistresses.
What’s something, that if you told someone, they’d be completely surprised? I’m really good at hand stands? Is that surprising?
