Four students were named to the All-District Choir, Sept. 29 at Vandegrift High School.

Seniors Shey Covington, Kiersten Dunn and Audrey Dickerson and junior Ashley Tysor all made the All-District Choir.

“I found out that I made it the morning after auditions and I was very excited because I tried out last year and didn’t make it,” Tysor said.

Tysor and the other students prepared for the auditions by working with their voice teachers and attending audition camps and clinics in the past few months.

The four choir students now continue with the audition process and move on to the Regional audition at Round Rock High School, Oct. 27.
