The Automotive Skills USA students competed at the district competition in Waco, Feb. 19. Blake Mascuccio placed first in Job Skills, Antonio Hinojosa, Jorge Mena, Kayla Kastner and James Nordwall placed first in Auto Service, and Colby Krahn placed fourth in Auto Skills. Mascuccio, Hinojosa, Mena, Kastner and Nordwall advanced to State competition which will be at Corpus Christi, March 30. “I could have done better,” Nordwall said. “I didn’t do everything that was required. But overall, it went pretty well.”
